Corinth–JT’s Falafel & Kabob-1012 US 72 E. (Mediterranean) Closed Sun. Good Middle Eastern style food (it looks like the real deal).

Crystal Springs–Louise Open Pit BBQ-26164 Miss-27 (BBQ) Open Thu-Sun (closed Sun evening). Best items are pork steak BBQ & greens.
Gulfport–Gulfport Yacht Club-800 East Pier Rd. (Seafood) One of the best places for fried shrimp & seafood gumbo. Prices are not expensive.
Gulfport–Thai Lotus-2327 25th Ave. (Thai) Closed Sat evening & Sun. High quality Thai food.
Jackson–Mr. Chen’s Authentic Chinese Cooking-5465 I-55 North (Chinese) Open Daily. All the reviews I’ve seen are for dishes that are not authentic, but this seems to be the best Chinese in Mississippi, and the “authentic” dishes may in fact be there. (May be temporarily closed 2-3-23)
Long Beach–Harbor View Cafe-504 Jeff Davis Ave. (Seafood) Lunch daily, dinner Tue-Sat. Seafood po-boy, shrimp crepes, shrimp pasta.
Lorman–Old Country Store-18801 Hwy 61 (American) Lunch only (open daily). Southern cooking. Famous for its fried chicken. Cornbread muffins, peach cobbler.
Natchez–Mammy’s Cupboard-555 US 61 S (American) Lunch only (closed Sun-Mon). Roadfood attraction, inside a building that looks like Aunt Jemima. Very good home cooked food. Get chicken & dumplings, sandwiches, soup, chocolate pie.
Oxford–Ajax Diner-118 Courthouse Square (American) Closed Sun. Southern cooking. People recommend chicken & dumplings, broccoli cheese & rice casserole, meatloaf, po-boy, turkey & dressing, pot roast, hamburger, turnip greens.
Pascagoula–Bozo’s Seafood Market-2012 Ingalls Ave. (Seafood) Closed Sun evening. Reviews say the shrimp & other seafood po-boys are excellent.
